The Quality Assurance Initiative (QAI) provides an opportunity to gather knowledge and skills gained from other projects, and to bring them together for the benefit of all colleges.
Our quality assurance systems cover all of our learning products. Within this initiative we are conducting a review of existing procedures (covering content, appearance, ease of access and technical delivery) in light of the outcomes and lessons learned from recent materials and development projects.
New guidelines, templates and advice will be introduced incrementally to build a robust set of web-based resources to support the development of learning and teaching materials with quality underpinned by principles and standards. A further aspect of this initiative is to develop a technological innovation forum through the QAI consultative group.
