UK National Training Award for Partnership and Collaboration

The partners in an ambitious five-year project have taken a top award at this year's National Training Awards.

The UK National Training Award for Partnership and Collaboration recognises the work of SQA, COLEG, SFEU and Scotland's 43 colleges to modernise Scotland's HNC/Ds to make them more relevant to the 21st century.

The National Training Awards showcase individuals and organisations who have made an outstanding commitment to skills development and achieved excellence through training.

Maureen Watt, Minister for Schools and Skills, said 'Creating a Smarter Scotland is at the centre of the Scottish Government's policies and providing quality training and ongoing skills development are vital to strengthening Scotland's economy, particularly in these challenging economic times.'
